Touch's Minami-chan and Golgo 13's Duke Togo Fuck in the Real World!
The power of the "underground manga" circulating in the shadows!
Translated by: Harley Acres
Just as there are underground videos in the world of video, there are "underground manga" in the world of manga as well, and they are said to be circulating in secret. Minami from
Touch, Lum-chan from
Urusei Yatsura, Kyoko from
Maison Ikkoku, and even Duke Togo from
Golgo 13 have been known to engage in intense, on-the-job fucking.
A depiction of Lum from one of the unnamed underground manga cited in the article.
"Recently, there's a "manga" that's been circulating. The main characters in the manga are depicted in scenes where they are having sex...
The trigger was a story I heard from Dookuman (どおくまん), who is currently serializing
Naniwa Yugyoden (遊侠伝) in this magazine.
[1] He called it by the name "underground manga," (裏マンガ/ura-manga) which, rather like "underground video," (裏ビデオ/ura-video) also attracted me, so I followed up with my contacts and searched for it.
[2]
However, these manga are not available in general bookstores. The most popular of these is the underground manga of Rumiko Takahashi's
Urusei Yatsura, which is currently available in a weekly magazine. In it, Lum, an oni girl, comes to earth from a faraway planet and takes up residence in Ataru Moroboshi's house. The original storyline features slapstick gags where Lum wears a sexy tiger-skin bikini, and this has been preserved. However, in the original story, if you touch Lum's tits or ass, you will be hit with a lightning bolt, but in this underground manga, it turns into a real fuck session. The pair squirm in a plastic greenhouse in the schoolyard.
Ataru's cock was already erect.
Lum-chan pulls down Ataru's pants and lightly touches the tip of his penis with her tongue. His cock is clearly drawn with "blue veins" and is quite realistic.
Lum-chan grabs the thick, hard cock with both hands and flicks her tongue over the back of the glans. The drooling and dripping is also depicted, making it quite powerful.
"How cute... You belong only to me." Lum-chan begins to take off her school uniform, saying, "You can't put it in anyone's pussy but mine." Lum, who usually wears a tiger-skin bikini but here stands in a frilly bra and a panties tied with a string, first gropes her breasts and then puts her hand inside the skimpy panties. After fumbling with it for a while, she pulls the string and reveals her pussy, which is clearly covered with triangular patch of pubic hair. She opened her pussy with her fingers, saying, "Look at this... This slit is only for my Darling." Not only are the labia majora, labia minora, and clitoris shown, but even the inside of the vagina is so clearly depicted that it's a shame readers can't see the fucking realism of it all here.

Kyoko-san is covered in cum!
There is more underground manga to come.
Maison Ikkoku, which depicts the slapstick antics of the widowed and innocent Kyoko, the caretaker of Ikkoku-kan and its residents, has been transformed into a soapland tale.
[4]
Kyoko-san is always busy sweeping up in the yard, but recently she has started going out with a lot of fancy make-up on, and... suddenly she is a soap lady. Trying to maintain her chastity after the death of her late husband, her sexual frustrations have suddenly exploded.
Kyoko-san, who is a little sexier than in the original, opens her tiny mouth and brings it close to the hilt of the customer's erect prick, saying, "Hey, let me lick your thing. I want to lick it."
And then, "splat!"
Suddenly they were both naked in the cowgirl position. Kyoko screams with delight and moves her hips violently, flooding the customer with copious amounts of love juice.
The joints are especially realistically depicted, so it's like watching an underground video...
As the man continues to kiss and suck, he sprays a shower in Kyoko's face from the tip of his erect cock.
Oh yeah, thrust it!
Kyoko Otonashi, now working as a soap girl, from one of the unnamed underground manga cited in the article.
The depiction of Kyoko-san licking semen with her tongue is very sexy. She then takes hold of his erect penis and leads him into her from behind, saying, "You're going to do the real thing, too, aren't you?
Guiding it in from behind, she asks him, "You like today's position where you can see my asshole, don't you?"
Kyoko is frenzied with joy, shouting "haa" and "ohh!", but then suddenly another man appears on the scene. He takes out his cock and starts to ram it in Kyoko's ass. The two men continued their pistoning movements, as if they were trying to do more and more. Kyoko was moaning, "Give me more, give me more!" Kyoko's mouth was filled with the shower of cum from the cock that had been in her ass, and her crotch was also flooded with milky seed. Her face and pale thighs were already covered with semen. It ends with the punch line, "In the end, Kyoko-san never returned to Ikkoku-kan again."
Other examples include Minami from the coming-of-age story
Touch, who is raped by the twins Kazuya and Tatsuya, and Wakashimazu from
Captain Tsubasa (キャプテン翼) and Goku-kun from
Dragon Ball (ドラゴンボール) also doing their best. Even Kenshiro of
Fist of the North Star (北斗の拳/Hokuto no Ken) is saying "ata ta ta ta taaa!" while he does the fuck-fuck. In a rough part, there's
Star of the Giants (巨人の星/Kyojin no Hoshi). Chuta, who has formed a battery with Hyuma Hoshi, has sex with Akiko, Hyuma's older sister, in the row house. Ittetsu Hoshi comes back there and begins that Spartan-style iron fist punishment.
Golgo 13 also gets some action with the stoic Duke Togo.
The trigger is dojinshi manga

The existence of this underground manga became famous at "Comic Market" (commonly known as Comiket). Comiket is an exhibition and sale of dojinshi (fanzine) magazines held twice a year at the Harumi Distribution Center in Tokyo. Since the first event in 1975, this year's event has already marked the 32nd time Comiket has been held. Recently, it has become a big event, with editors of major manga magazines also visiting the event to buy manga. Yoshihiro Yonezawa,
[5] the organizer of Comiket, explains:
"There are 450 circles participating from all over the country, but only about 150 of them draw what is called 'underground manga'. Only a small percentage of them draw what is called 'bishojo' manga. However, they sell very well. The drawings are good, and what they draw are parodies of popular characters. If you put in one sexual fantasy, you're sure to sell. Besides, this is a seller's market, and if you can draw even a little, you'll soon make your 'underground debut.'"
When we talked to Yasushi Ohisa (大久保志), editor-in-chief of
Pumpkin (Hakuya Shobo), a bishojo comic that has a circulation of 30,000, he said, "At first, we were just enjoying them among our friends, but when we collected them into a book, they sold like hotcakes. Eventually,
Dokkin Minako-sensei! (ドッキン美奈子先生!) (written by Wataru Watanabe [わたなべわたる]) sold 80,000 copies and really became a boom." Apparently, "underground manga" dealing with bishojo is selling well. On the contrary, it is said that the gekiga manga are not very popular.
Let's talk to a dojinshi manga artist who draws underground manga, mainly Rumiko Takahashi's works.
"I'm still a student, so it's more like I'm doing this on the side. But as soon as I reach a certain level in sales of my art, then it becomes a business. I don't make enough money to eat on a regular basis, but at Comiket, for example, I make 500,000 to 600,000 yen in profit. The reason why there are so many Lum-chan characters in underground manga is because she has an adult body shape with sex appeal, which attracts both the writers and readers."
However, there is a big problem with these underground manga: copyright. What about this point?
On the other hand, what is the reaction of the parodied mangaka? "I'm angry!" Rumiko Takahashi, who is the "biggest victim of underground manga," said, "I've seen it once, but it was so stupid. After that, I stopped looking at it. Adding a sex scene to a character created by someone else? If you really like manga, you won't do it. It's a blasphemy against manga!" Hiroto Ikeda-san of Takaoka Shoten, a bookstore in the Shogakukan district of Tokyo, suddenly takes a harsh tone when he talks about underground manga. "We are near Shogakukan's home base. We'd never put out a dojinshi with Rumiko Takahashi's characters in it! Adding such a scene to the magazine is a courtesy. If you really like manga, you wouldn't do that. It is a sacrilege to manga!" Although this may be a problem due to Takahashi being number one in terms of popularity, she says she is not considering suing for copyright infringement.
Tens of millions of yen in annual profits.
However, there are those who are offended that some are using this as an opportunity to make a profit. Go Nagai (永井豪), a manga artist famous for such works as
Harenchi Gakuen (ハレンチ学園) and
Cutie Honey (キューティーハニー), said, "I don't care how many erotic things you draw. The playful elements are important in manga. I don't think there's any need to be so uptight about underground manga. But what's unforgivable is that there are organizations that make tens of millions of yen a year in profits from these kind of manga. If you're a professional who makes money, I would say that you should compete with your own original work," said Nagai-san.
Photographer Nobuyoshi Araki, a.k.a. Araki (アラーキー/荒木経惟), also has a way with words. "Fuck Minami-chan? That's funny, right? Pornography can do many things. Whether it's underground manga or copyright infringement, it doesn't matter. I want you to come out and do it. Oh, also, rather than a weak man's fucking, I'd like them to depict a strong man fucking."
In contrast, Shinichi Nakazawa (中沢新一), assistant professor at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, the banner of the New Generation, says, "Parodies must be kept to doodles in toilet stalls." Nakazawa, who says he basically likes parodies, continues, "Parodies are second-rate. Continuing to draw only such second-rate things is like the Japanese people during the high-growth period. It's mean-spirited, and it's dark."
As one might expect, underground manga does not necessarily have a good reputation among professional mangaka and craftspeople. You wouldn't want to be caught buying or reading these.
According to information this magazine has obtained, the next manga sell will be held on August 8 and 9 at the distribution center in Harumi, Tokyo. Those mooks who want to see Minami and Kyoko's outrageous depictions should go check it out.

- [1] Dookuman (どおくまん), real name Kazuaki Suzuki (鈴木和明), an Osaka-based mangaka. His work includes Nesshou!! Hanazawa Koukou (熱笑!! 花沢高校) for Shonen Champion. In this issue of Asahi Geinou he was publishing Naniwa Yugyoden (遊侠伝).
- [2] The term "ura-manga" (裏マンガ) is often used in this article to refer to sexualized manga, what would typically be called "ecchi" (エッチ). Ura-manga can be translated as "underground manga", "in-the-shadows manga", or "hidden manga".
- [3] A caption in the magazine notes that the mosaics placed over the images were due to the magazine itself and were not in the original manga.
- [4] "Soapland" refers to a brothel where the client is initially bathed (with that portion of the fees going to the bathhouse) and then engage in sexual activity with a "soap lady" (ソープレディ). The cost of the bath is much higher than a typical visit to a bath house, and in general soaplands are considered at the upper echelon of the prostitution hierarchy in Japan.
