Miho & Rika
Rika Momoi and Miho are Sakura's two best friends at Sankai High School. They are her classmates along with Rinne, Tsubasa and Renge and study under Annette. Miho has short black hair and is the more level-headed of the duo. She has an interest in the supernatural but just like Rika, gets scared as soon as she sees something out of the ordinary. Ria has brown hair and is a bit more flighty than Miho. She enjoys dating and is happy for boys to spend money on her, as seen when she is paired with Rinne while he's on a case.
While both Rika and Miho are loyal to Sakura and curious about her friendship with Rinne, whenever things get too spooky they instanly run away, leaving Sakura behind without hesitation. When Annette becomes their new homeroom teacher the duo become fascinated with her predictions and can be found making use of their teachers abilities to see into the future.
The Meaning Behind the Name - ミホ & リカ
Both Miho and Rika's names are not written with kanji making it impossible to discern any deeper meaning in their names. Truthfully it is appropriate for two "major" minor characters.
